I enlisted in the Army on the 14th of March 2005, right before my 21st birthday. I became an Airborne Infantryman in B Co. 2-325 AIR, 82nd Abn. I deployed to Tal Afar, Iraq for four months in early September the same year. I have worked with the Boston Chapter of IVAW in different positions, including Co-Chair. Right now I am focusing on getting to a more balanced place as a human being, volunteering at an urban farm/shelter, learning more about sustainable agriculture, possibly going to Massage Therapy school, and I would like to start a peer counseling group. I would like to do more writing and reading, and to explore other arts to see what fits best with my path. For now, I am trying to live with love and compassion.
