I joined when I was 17. I was still in high school.
I really didn't know much about the military.
Talk to a veteran,

talk to someone who has just come back from Iraq.
See what it was like,

because it is not what you see on video games
or in the movies
or read about in books.
It's not this piece of glory.
It's not heroic.
It's scary and
it's horrible and
People die
people get wounded
people come back changed forever.
