I wrote this after thinking a lot and hearing a lot about veterans that weren't combat, or in country, etc. were called "fake." Not like fake you didn't serve...but fake like your service has no merit. My issue was, and is, that most of us don't really have a say with where our orders tell us to go, or even if our MOS is changed mid-service, you just do what Uncle Sam says...
