I'm not anti-military, but I'm against the war. I don't understand what "Support the Troops" means. I don't own any yellow-ribbon magnets; I don't own a car to put them on either. I feel apologetic for not deploying to Iraq, but I also thank God that I didn't. I support the draft and the idea that when America goes to war the whole nation should feel it. I believe a patriot is someone who stands up for the country's ideals, not just someone who enlists or has a conservative talk show.
At the moment, I'm half way through my master of fine arts degree at the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, VT.
