Our third anthology, After Action Review, features more than 100 powerful and moving poems, creative writing and art by veterans. We are incredibly proud of all the hard work that went into this book.
Our City, Our Vets Mural
Mural Arts and Warrior Writers are creating a Veterans' mural in Philadelphia. In the next few months we will be hosting a series art and writing workshops for veterans, community discussions, exhibitions, and painting activities.
Warrior Writers at Ft. Hood
Warrior Writers presented a Community Arts Forum Nov. 30 - Dec. 4, 2011 at Under the Hood Café in Killeen, TX. The weekend featured writing and art-making workshops, performances and an art exhibition for active duty soldiers, veterans, military families, artists, and community members.

Warrior Writers is a Philadelphia based, national non-profit. Our mission is to create a culture that articulates veterans’ experiences, provide a creative community for artistic expression, and bear witness to the lived experiences of warriors.
